After producing and directing more than half a dozen student films, including the award-winning cautionary fairy tale Mirror Mirror, I graduated from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts with a BFA in film and a minor in producing.

While at NYU, my producing niche was women filmmakers sharing their unique perspectives on childhood, romance, and old-fashioned tales of horror, redemption, and sacrifice - themes that I am pursuing post-graduation.

Post-graduation, I settled in Brooklyn, and have kept busy with a number of jobs, from working as a research coordinator in children's television to assistant producer at an independent documentary production company. Weekends and evenings are spent freelancing as an editor, graphics artist, and web designer.

Before moving to New York, I lived in southern Louisiana and studied media arts at NOCCA (the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts). From 2003 to 2005, I produced a series of short documentaries for the USDA Southern Regional Research Center in New Orleans, Louisiana, highlighting the Center's research units and cultural diversity.
